Bangladesh, I owe you a lot!

শুধুমাত্র সৌভাগ্যের কারণে আমার দেশের মানুষের ট্যাক্সের টাকায় শীর্ষস্থানীয় পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পড়তে পেরেছি। দেশের মানুষের কাছে আমার অনেক ঋণ।

ইংল্যান্ডে থাকাকালীন সময়ে অনেক দেশের মানুষের সাথে কথা বলেছি। তাদের দেশ,সমাজ, মানুষ নিয়ে জানতে চেয়েছি। আর আমাদের দেশের মানুষের কথা ভেবেছি। দায়বদ্ধতার জায়গায় থেকে দেশের মায়া ছাড়তে পারিনি আজও। তাই মাঝে মাঝে ফেসবুকে কিছু লেখার সময়ও চিন্তা-চেতনায় বাংলাদেশই থাকে। কিন্তু এসব বিষয় নিয়ে আর কখনো ভাববো না। একটা জিনিসই অনুভব করেছি, আমাদের দেশের ভাগ্যটাই আসলে খারাপ। শত কষ্টের মাঝেও এক দুই লাইন লিখে লিখে ২ বছরে একটি বইয়ের কাজ করেছি। তাও বাংলাদেশ নিয়ে। জীবনে একটা বই প্রকাশের বিরাট স্বপ্ন ছিল, পূরণ হয়েছে। 

এরপর থেকে আর কখনো 'দেশ' নিয়ে লিখবনা, কিছু বলবও না। 

"Regarding Bangladesh, due to fortunate circumstances, I have had the opportunity to study at the country's top schools and colleges. I have been able to pursue higher education at a prestigious public university with the tax money of the people of my country. I owe a lot to the people of my country.

During my time in England, I had conversations with people from many countries to learn about their countries, societies, and people. I have not been able to escape the influence of my country even when I am far away. Sometimes, even while writing something on Facebook, I find myself thinking about Bangladesh. However, I never want to think about these matters again.

I have experienced one thing: our country's fate is actually Unfavorable.

Even amidst a hundred hardships. I have spent two years working on a book, solely dedicated to Bangladesh. It was a huge dream in my life, and it has been fulfilled.

After that, I will not write or say anything about 'Bangladesh' anymore."
